Working principle of dry magnetic separator

Under the action of magnetic force, they move towards the magnetic poles and are then adsorbed onto the cylinder. When the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic flux" rotates with the cylinder, magnetic stirring occurs due to the alternating magnetic poles. Non magnetic minerals such as gangue mixed in the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic flux" will roll down during the rolling process, and the "magnetic cluster" or "magnetic lotus" that is ultimately attracted to the surface of the cylinder is the concentrate. Non magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry and discharged outside the tank with the slurry, which is the tailings.
